Want to know what it’s like being a real estate mogul? Find out by buying and selling some of Singapore’s most coveted properties, from Marina Bay Sands to Gardens by the Bay, with a new augmented reality game.

Landlord Go, developed by Polish gaming studio Reality Games, is a location-based strategy game that melds the digital and real worlds through augmented reality to virtually buy, sell and collect rent on buildings and landmarks around you. Think Monopoly played in the real world.

Players can build their real estate empire by investing in properties and competing with other players by getting into bidding wars using their phones.

The studio specializes in creating games based on real-world data populating a detailed database combined with NASA satellite imagery to provide accurate listings and locations.

“You walk your neighborhood every day, seeing familiar landscapes and buildings. Now you can view those daily sights in a whole new way by owning a virtual piece of your community,” the game developer said in its announcement.

“Whether you’re starting small or have grand visions to own the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore or the Empire State Building in New York City, they’re yours for the taking with Landlord Go.”

Landlord Go has over 1 million players worldwide and more than 250,000 properties in Singapore waiting to be “bought.” It is available for download for and .

������ Singapore sussed out reviews for the game and it seems that people are pretty happy with it so far.

“Best mobile game I have ever played. I can buy every company around my place. Localizations are very direct due to real map. I have no complaints,” a user known as “Tprwwwcs132” wrote in on the Apple store, where the game’s currently 4.6 out of 5 stars with 183 ratings.

“I really like this game because of it’s quality, everything is pretty clear, it’s easier to play than previous game from this developer, overall one of better mobile games,” another known as “MichalPL2007” said.
