Starbucks has expanded its plant-based food offerings to include two more wholesome meals that those thinking of cutting out meat may want to consider.聽

Just two months after introducing its first ever Rendang Pie made with Impossible鈥檚 plant-based meat, the coffee chain is now serving pasta salad made with plant-based meatballs and another pie made with ground fake meat. The Rendang Pie, which was meant to be available for a limited period, is no longer on the menu.聽

The Impossible Pasta Salad Bowl (S$9.50) and the Impossible Pie (S$7.50) are now available for purchase from all stores as well as participating food delivery apps Foodpanda, Deliveroo and GrabFood.聽

The salad contains fusilli pasta, broccoli, French beans, baby corn, cherry tomatoes, and topped with soy sesame dressing, while the pie contains gherkins, tomato sauce and layers of cheddar cheese wrapped in short-crust pastry.

Since its debut in Singapore last year, Impossible Foods has made its plant-based meat substitutes available in and fast food outlets.聽聽
