There are many ways to handle customer complaints, but releasing CCTV footage to get back at them is probably not one of those – unless you鈥檙e Aliff Syukri.聽

The Malaysian cosmetics entrepreneur has been receiving poor reviews about a resort he opened six months ago, but one recent complaint from parkour athlete Abudi Alsagoff did not sit too well with Aliff, and led him to do the unthinkable.聽

The 33-year-old businessman and social media sensation hit back at Alsagoff yesterday for criticizing his Pahang state resort鈥檚 hygiene standards and customer service by posting CCTV footage that purportedly showed Alsagoff鈥檚 family dining at the lobby while the children were playing skipping rope.

Aliff could be heard in the background describing the family as 鈥渦nethical.鈥澛

鈥淧lease mind your manners when in someone else鈥檚 home,鈥 he then wrote on Instagram, and went on to say that his Sugeh Hill Resort in the Janda Baik village was an 鈥渆co-resort, not a five-star resort.鈥

Aliff unleashed all that wrath on Alsagoff days after he apparently the athlete with the CCTV footage for leaving a bad review on the latter鈥檚 personal Facebook page.聽

The online review had listed 15 unfavorable things during Alsagoff鈥檚 stay at the resort, including finding a cockroach in the fridge, blood-stained bedsheets, dirty surroundings, and rude staff.

鈥淪uch a gorgeous and huge space, but it鈥檚 a pity that the resort needs better maintenance and customer service,鈥 it read. The review even included a video of what appeared to be the said cockroach crawling in the fridge.

Checks on Sugeh Hill Resort鈥檚 reviews on Facebook and Google show that the establishment has received 2.5 and 3.4 star-ratings respectively since it opened six months ago, with some complaining of power outages, rude staff, and dirty rooms. But some gave brownie points for the scenic location.
