COVID-19 may have left a void among buffet-lovers but thanks to “new normal-friendly” concepts, some Kuala Lumpur hotels have figured out ways to satisfy buffet cravings while sticking to safe distancing measures. 

While many of us hope that we can still enjoy buffets like we used to, here are some options that we can turn to in the meantime. 

Eat Lah @ Nook by Aloft Kuala Lumpur

Instead of joining long buffet queues and poking at foods laid out in the buffet spread, customers at Eat Lah @ Nook can simply order as many foods as possible from the chef for a single price.  

Located at the Aloft Kuala Lumpur hotel, the buffet at Eat Lah @ Nook offers more than fifty different Malaysian and Western dishes, as well as unique desserts.

Guests each pay RM98 (US$23) and the professional chefs will whip up the dishes upon receiving orders at the four-star restaurant.

“So far we’ve had quite a positive response because I think a lot of people have been missing the buffet,” marketing manager Natasha Venner-Pack told ������ KL. “This is a nice new normal-friendly way of having a buffet without having to queue up.”

Venner-Pack recommends that guests book a table if they would like to dine on weekends.

Vasco’s at Hilton Kuala Lumpur

Have as much food prepared in front of you at Vasco’s, including Western, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine.

This special live buffet is available for both lunch and dinner.
