A YouTuber was live streaming a walk around London when he inadvertently filmed the violent assault of a Singaporean student.聽
Raymond Hing, 21, sustained a cut to his face after he was attacked in Leicester Square by a man who was apparently trying to steal his bicycle. The entire ordeal was streamed live by a British YouTuber known only as Sherwin, who happened upon the attack at around 1am (London time) on April 10.聽
鈥淗elp me! Leicester Square now. I鈥檝e been robbed, I almost got murdered, man,鈥 Hing is heard telling emergency responders through Sherwin鈥檚 phone in the video.聽

Sherwin managed to catch the attack at the 6:05:15 mark of his seven-and-a-half hour stream. The incident in central London took place while Sherwin was looking for his ride home. As he saw Hing being attacked, the YouTuber rushed to the scene. Hing was already on the ground and sitting in the middle of the street with his bicycle when he appeared in the video, screaming for help as blood streamed down his forehead.聽
While speaking to the emergency responder on the phone, which was on speakerphone, Hing described his assailant as a skinny Somalian in a blue jacket who appeared to be in his 20s.聽
鈥淎ttempted murder, he is armed and dangerous. He was taking out a knife, yes he tried to rob me,鈥 Hing said.聽
Several bystanders gathered near Hing and Sherwin. Two plainclothes police officers and an ambulance soon arrived. One of the officers asked Sherwin for a copy of his livestream footage.聽
The Metropolitan Police told that they searched the area but could not locate the attacker. No one has been arrested.聽
