A supermarket has gotten in on the word nerd game that鈥檚 swept the internet to promote deals on its groceries.
NTUC FairPrice today created and solved its own version of , the daily online word puzzle where users get six tries to guess a five-letter word.
In just five tries, the supermarket landed on 鈥淪hiok,鈥 singlish for great. Its previous guesses — 鈥済reat,鈥 鈥渄eals,鈥 鈥渟olid,鈥 鈥減rice鈥 鈥 boast of grocery bargains.

Wordle is a free browser game created by Josh Wardle, a software engineer in Brooklyn who created the game for his word game-loving partner and released it publicly in October. It went viral shortly after and now has millions of daily players.
