The month for all things horror is approaching, and with it comes a chance to hunt ghosts and solve a murder from the safe confines of home.
Murder At Old Changi Hospital is a virtual escape room where players become paranormal investigators to solve a murder and disappearance set in Singapore鈥檚 most-haunted hospital.
The 90-minute game was written by award-winning playwright Chong Tze Chien and stars Erwin Shah Ismail, Munah Bagharib, and Bright Ong. It鈥檚 actually the finale to a murder mystery series by Sight Lines Entertainment, which last year put on an interactive game at the Mandai Camp military base.聽
Participants will take on the roles of paranormal investigators investigating a 1996 incident in which a young canteen worker was murdered and four commandos went missing at the hospital. They will decode puzzles and use augmented reality to navigate the hospital through聽 360-degree footage and flashbacks.聽
The abandoned hospital, built in 1935, holds a special place in Singapore鈥檚 psyche as a nexus for wayward spirits and other spooky happenings.聽
