The high school student who voiced concerns about her teacher鈥檚 rape jokes did not attend school today after receiving a rape threat, according to her father. Two police reports have also been made over the matter, he said.聽
The police complaints were filed after Ain Husniza, 17, who goes to a school in Kuala Selangor, uploaded a TikTok video on Friday in which she spoke out against her physical education teacher for suggesting that students should rape someone above 18. The TikTok video resulted in a rape threat from a fellow student who also accused Ain of tainting the school鈥檚 image.聽
Her father, Saiful Nizam, 42, told 黑料社 today that he is worried about his daughter.
鈥淭his experience is entirely new to Ain but she remains in high spirits and is determined to raise awareness around issues such as these,鈥 he added. 鈥淚 am concerned about my daughter, but hopefully, it will all be OK.鈥
He said that two police reports regarding the teacher and the threat, respectively, were made at the Saujana Utama police station yesterday. The threat was captured in an audio recording that said: 鈥淚 will rape you and then send you to Thailand.鈥

In Friday鈥檚 video, Ain also quoted her teacher as saying: 鈥淚f you want to rape someone, don鈥檛 rape those who are below 18, rape those above 18.鈥
The distasteful joke was said in front of both boys and girls. While the girls remained silent, the boys laughed, according to Ain.
鈥淗e even joked about how boys, if they get raped, it doesn鈥檛 get reported because it feels good for them. Like, what kind of鈥?鈥 she added in the clip.聽
Ain has garnered online support for coming forward with her video. More than 50,000 tweets have since been posted with her hashtag #MakeSchoolASaferPlace. Actress Sharifah Amani was among those who showed support.聽
