Dozens of alleged victims are accusing a woman of a purported iPhone scam after she flaunted her luxury car and house on Twitter.聽
The 25-year-old woman known on Twitter as Rozmiza Rozman had about buying a house and her red Mercedes-Benz. Her success story drew the attention of thousands including some who claimed they suffered financial losses while trying to buy iPhones from her in the past.聽
鈥淭his is a scammer, my friends. I was once scammed by her during her time at Nzgadget and lost RM11,200 (US$2,700),鈥 Twitter user Cikgu Asyraf yesterday. His tweet was shared by 4,300 others.
Both Rozmiza and Nzgadget did not immediately respond to 黑料社 KL鈥檚 online request for comment.聽

Asyraf also shared that he was promised a refund three years ago but had not received any to this day. He claimed that Rozmiza said she was swindled by her own supplier.聽
Asyraf鈥檚 story sounded similar to that of cosmetics entrepreneur Nur Nazahah, who told 黑料社 KL today that Rozmiza had acted as an agent for the Nzgadgets electronics retailer four years ago and was collecting orders for iPhones. But she and her friends never heard back and lost nearly RM800 (US$200) in total.聽
鈥淲e didn鈥檛 get anything, yet we already paid her. I felt guilty for my friends because I knew they really wanted an iPhone, and that might have been their only savings,鈥 the 26-year-old said.
鈥淪o I paid my friends back with my own money – almost RM600. I lost RM199 myself. But I believe other victims lost much more money. Some involved thousands because they placed orders for family and friends too.鈥
When asked why she thought victims were coming forward after seeing Rozmiza鈥檚 tweet, she said: 鈥淭he thing is people are raging over her tweets flexing her car and house but she gave a million reasons to not refund her customers (back then), which is totally not right.鈥
Rozmiza鈥檚 tweet included photos of her posing in front of her car and another that showed a bunch of keys held up to the camera inside a house. It garnered more than 10,000 retweets.
鈥淒on鈥檛 compare your life鈥檚 journey with someone else鈥檚,鈥 the caption read.聽
鈥淚 bought my first house at the age of 23, and my first car on my 25th birthday. No matter how old you are, it鈥檚 okay! Just keep going!鈥

A check on Nzgadget鈥檚 Instagram account showed that it has not been active since 2015. Rozmiza had mentioned in a tweet that she is currently a full-time financial consultant.聽
Others who outed themselves as her alleged victims include Twitter user , who claimed he was scammed of nearly RM1,000. Another named called her out two days ago.聽
鈥淵ou scammed us of iPhone preorders, yet you continue to pretend (to be wealthy),鈥 his tweet said.
