Thailand鈥檚 most elite state school announced yesterday it would join dozens of universities and colleges nationwide in protesting against the government of Prayuth Chan-o-cha.聽

A student representative of Triam Udom Suksa School, located on Bangkok鈥檚 Phaya Thai Road, said they would rally at the school鈥檚 soccer stadium at 8:30am on Thursday.

鈥淒ear friends and alumni, please spread the word and join us. If you cannot join on Thursday, you can still write your opinions via hashtag #罢谤颈补尘鲍诲辞尘顿辞别蝉苍鈥檛叠辞飞迟辞顿颈肠迟补迟辞谤蝉. Let our voices be heard!鈥

It鈥檚 the first high school to join dozens of other campuses in staging student protests since the first was held Saturday at Thammasat University, one day after a popular progressive political party was disbanded by the judiciary.

The school has added its name to a rallying cry adopted in hashtag form, #, by other campuses nationwide, which are staging rallies on different days to show unity and support for the now-defunct Future Forward Party.
