The Stranded, or Kweng in Thai, a sci-fi thriller that follows dozens of high school students trapped on a remote island following a tsunami, will become available Nov. 15 on the streaming platform.

In its trailer, the plot of the seven-episode series thickens with a number of strange events (with Thai touches) as everyone struggles to survive. It definitely has a Lord of the Flies vibe.
The movie is by horror flick filmmaker Sophon Sakdaphisit, who directed 2011鈥檚 Ladda Land, based on a haunted Chiang Mai house, and wrote the screenplay for 2004鈥檚 acclaimed Shutter, a film about spirit photography.聽
