Bangkok and SEA鈥檚 crumbling cement a great stage for Thai skate doc

The international art of grinding and face-planting is the same anywhere, but we think it looks especially cool in the stained-concrete expanses of Bangkok.

A feast of young, local skaters looking suave in their hooded jackets, snapbacks, and beanies can be found in a slick new video where they soar, kickflip and fakie their way over railings, stairs, slippery slopes in many scenes filmed across the capital.

The 30-minute skate doc, produced by the local skaters of Preduce Skateboards, was published yesterday to the , an international skating program on YouTube. It also features other Thai locales such as an Udon Thani train station, as well as snippets from skating other Asian urban centers.

It鈥檚 Bangkok. The video is even aptly set to the tunes of local indie bands.

Who needs skateboard parks when there鈥檚 an abundance of empty canteens, decrepit temples and crumbling schools to be found in the metropolis? These guys make the best use of Bangkok鈥檚 architecture.

What makes the video all the more enjoyable is that, like all good skate videos, it includes all their epic fails and grunts of pain.

All-in-all, the Preduce team seem like spunky, fun-loving guys. Enough said, check out the video for yourself:
